ANNOUNCING
The NEW Castle Heights Playground at Nicholls Park
HISTORY OF THE PLAYGROUND: In 2005, Fruit Height City residents constructed the Castle Heights Playground together with eight Eagle Scout projects. Residents donated time, money and labor to create the structure that has been enjoyed and beloved by our families and visitors from all over the region.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED: In spring of 2018, a Playground Commission was appointed to research and explore options for a new structure. Priorities were: retaining the castle motif; creating long term value as well as excellent quality; and seeking the best possible initial and future maintenance costs. Designated funds from the City’s budget purchased basic equipment (see the site design below).
WHAT YOU CAN DO: The Castle Heights Playground renovation project is a unique opportunity to create a memorable facility for generations to come. The site is a treasure in our city; a beautiful setting against the Rocky Mountains. We invite you to join us in building a magnificent community and family- friendly environment by making a generous TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION. Donations and sponsor monies will make possible additional necessary equipment, landscaping and security features such as:
*Walking and exercise course *ADA Accessible tables
*Parent seating/Benches *Additional play equipment
*Lighting *Security cameras
*Restroom upgrades *Landscaping/Trees
Sponsors at the following levels will find permanent display at the entrance structure of the playground.
CROWN’S CREST $25,000+
CASTLE’S KEEP $10,000-$24,999
REGAL REALM $5,000-$9,999
GALLANT GUARDS $1,000-$4,990

LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN TOGETHER THIS FALL! We welcome donations in any amount! We hope that our children, young people and families will join in contributing what they can to be part of this project.
Very truly yours,
Castle Heights Playground Commission
