Pressurized Irrigation

Fruit Heights City provides residents with culinary water (drinking water), but for the most part, secondary water (pressurized irrigation) is supplied by Haights Creek Irrigation or Benchland Water District.

In response to continuing drought conditions, secondary water providers have set different restrictions to help customers conserve water. The latest restrictions from each provider are listed below, as well as contact information.

 - HAIGHTS CREEK -
1. TWO days/week watering
2. No outside watering 10 am - 6 pm
3. Water based on home address:
 - Address ending in 0, 1, 2, 3 - irrigate Monday & Thursday
 - Address ending in 4, 5, 6 - irrigate Tuesday & Friday
 - Address ending in 7, 8, 9 - irrigate Wednesday & Saturday
4. No hosing down sidewalks/driveways
5. Limit new landscaping
6. Violations may result in termination of services

 - BENCHLAND WATER -
1. TWO days/week watering
2. NO irrigation use on weekends* * Saturday 8 am - Monday 8 am
3. Limit new landscaping
4. One day a week hand watering trees/shrubs
5. No outside watering 10 am - 6 pm
6. No hosing down sidewalks/driveways
7. Early end to season - mid-September

1. ONE day/week watering
2. No outside watering 10 am - 6 pm
3. Water based on home address:
 - Address ending in 0 or 2 - irrigate Monday
 - Address ending in 1 or 3 - irrigate Tuesday
 - Address ending in 4 or 6 - irrigate Wednesday
 - Address ending in 5 or 7 - irrigate Thursday
 - Address ending in 8 or 9 - irrigate Friday
4. No hosing down sidewalks/driveways
5. Limit new landscaping
6. Early end to season - mid-September
7. Violation fees 1st violation - Given notice 2nd violation - $250.00 fee 3rd violation - $500.00 fee 4th violation - $1,000.00 fee - and water turned off for season

 - Address ending in even numbers - irrigate Monday, Thursday
 - Address ending in odd numbers - irrigate Tuesday, Friday
4. No hosing down sidewalks/driveways
5. Limit new landscaping
6. Early end to season - mid-September
7. Violation fees 1st violation - Given notice 2nd violation - $250.00 fee 3rd violation - $500.00 fee 4th violation - $1,000.00 fee - and water turned off for season

**ATTENTION: DUE TO DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS IN 2022, WEBER BASIN WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT IS DELAYING THE START OF THE IRRIGATION SEASON TO MAY 15, 2022. THE SEASON WILL ALSO END EARLY, BY SEPTEMBER 2022, OR EARLIER, DEPENDING ON WATER SUPPLY.
