Board of Adjustment

Overview


The Board of Adjustments is to provide for just and fair treatment in the administration of zoning ordinances. Members of the Board of Adjustment are appointed by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council for a term of five years.

The Board of Adjustments hears and decides appeals from zoning decisions by applying the zoning ordinances or special exceptions to the terms of the zoning ordinance or variance.
